Missions

Faced with the democratization of hybrid learning integrating distance learning and new immersive technologies, DigitAll’s ambition is to prototype an inclusive collaboration platform drawing on the power of non-verbal communication to fill current gaps.

As part of the DigitAll project, Immersion will be analyzing the current use of Shariiing for training to explore new interaction modalities, with a particular focus on non-verbal communication. To this end, CATIE will be involved in conducting experimental protocols and developing indicators and evaluation methods.

Immersion’s mission in this project is to design and implement prototypes defining a standard for the use of mixed technologies in collaborative learning situations, aligned with the market and Shariiing. Always with the overall aim of placing people at the heart of our future technological innovations for Shariiing.

More specifically, this involves the study of non-verbal and distance issues, and exploratory prototyping for learning using non-verbal communication.
